Many people have been talking about what’s happening in their local real estate markets now that 2017 is underway. I wanted to give you a rundown on what is happening nationwide by going over a top trending topic in real estate right now: Generation X.

Generation X consists of people who are 33 to 47 years old, and they make up the largest chunk of home buyers at 31%. These are the people who are actively participating in the market.
Mobile devices are becoming the most common tools used for home searches.
Even more interesting is not who is participating in the market, but how. We see that iPads and smartphones are becoming the most popular tools used to shop for a home. Over the past few years, mobile clicks have shot up exponentially, which has had a profound effect on the market.
